“Another front” / Khmelnitskiy, Ukraine, 2023

This mural was created in 2023 for a dental clinic located on the territory of the Air Assault Forces Training Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the city of Khmelnytskyi. The project was commissioned by the Dental Front initiative — a community of enthusiasts providing dental care to military personnel in training and frontline environments. The central image does not depict combat, but rather a moment of human support and trust between comrades. The deliberately restrained black-and-white palette emphasizes the seriousness of the space while seamlessly integrating into the functional medical interior. The mural does not dominate the environment; instead, it coexists with it, shaping an atmosphere of focus, calm, and inner strength. This work speaks about care as a form of defense, medicine as another front, and humanity that persists even within a military context.
