“Saint Javelin” / Kyiv, Ukraine, 2022

Mural “Saint Javelin” was created in May 2022 in Kyiv, during one of the most dramatic and defining moments in modern Ukrainian history — the period of the full-scale invasion. The project was produced for Saint Javelin, a Canadian–Ukrainian social brand, which has become an international symbol of solidarity with Ukraine. The artwork merges traditional religious iconography with the visual language of contemporary street art. The sacred figure is reimagined as a symbol of protection, resilience, and dignity. Here, faith is portrayed not only as a religious concept, but as an inner strength and collective resolve of a nation defending its freedom.
